Wes Hiatt, AIA is an architect and educator based in New York. He is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Lehigh University.
He graduated with degrees from Yale University, The Ohio State University, and the University of Cambridge, where he was the 2017 - 18 Bass Fellow in Architecture. Wes worked with NADAAA in Boston, Gensler in Los Angeles, and Matthew Baird Architects in New York. Here he gained experience in project types across scales, from high-end residential to master planning.
As an educator, Wes is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Lehigh University. His research is concerned with how architects may participate in the politics of history, change, and identity through engagement with policies governing development and historic preservation. He has previously taught design studios at The Cooper Union, Yale University, the University of Cincinnati, and the University of Southern California.
